Has God Spoken

Some voices claim to speak for God—but their words bring harm instead of hope. History is full of people who have declared, “God told me…” before saying things that crushed, deceived, or destroyed. How do we know if God has truly spoken? And if He has, how can we be sure we are hearing Him? This week in Faith for a Reason, we face the question: “Has God spoken in the Bible?” When we look at the beauty and complexity of our universe, we see clear evidence that it was made—not by accident, but with intention and care. That level of care points to a Creator who values His creation deeply. But if this God exists, would He leave us guessing about who He is? Or would He speak clearly so we can know Him? In this message, we’ll wrestle with the difference between human claims about God’s words and the actual voice of God revealed in Scripture. We’ll explore why the Bible stands apart from every other source, and how it offers a trustworthy, life-giving message to a world full of competing voices.

From Series: "Faith For A Reason"

Everyone wrestles with big questions about life and faith. “What is the purpose of suffering?” “Has God really spoken?” “Can I trust the Bible?” “What does God really want?” But one question sits at the core of them all. And the way we address it will guide us to the answers for every other question—“How do we know God exists?” Many assume faith means closing your eyes and hoping. But what if faith is actually about opening your eyes wider than ever before? This Sunday, we begin a brand-new series called “Faith For A Reason”—a space to take honest doubts seriously and explore clear, thoughtful answers. And we’ll start with the question everything else depends on: Is God really there?
